Timber Beams

Beams sawn to your number

We saw beams to order instead of selling you the closest stock size. Structural or decorative, raw or finished — the dimension you ask for is the dimension you get.

Raw & Finished

From 4x4 posts to long span timbers

Posts, headers, girders, ridge beams, mantels, ceiling beams and porch timbers. Our automated sawmill handles large logs, so we can cut long, full-dimension timbers that are hard to source anywhere else nearby.

Species include white and red oak, southern yellow pine, poplar, cypress and walnut, depending on what's in the yard. Tell us where the beam is going and we'll steer you to the right wood and the right finish.

  • Custom lengths and cross sections cut to order
  • Green or air-dried stock
  • Chamfered, eased or square edges
  • Steel brackets and straps cut on our plasma table

Rough Sawn

Straight off the mill with saw marks intact — the honest barn look.

Planed Smooth

Run through the dimensional planer for crisp, clean faces and edges.

Hand Hewn Look

Textured faces and eased edges for a reclaimed, weathered character.

Sanded & Sealed

Finish-ready beams for mantels, headers and interior exposure.

Quality Work

We accommodate architectural plans for true wooden exposed beams through outdoor pavilions, churches, homes, barns and any custom remodeler wanting the unique touch of exposed beams.

Color & Wood Options

Beams can be unfinished, stained, or painted and “weathered”. Various types of woods are available to choose from. When determining your options, consider the overall aesthetic goal you have and whether or not the beams are truly supporting your structure.

Handmade Metal Brackets

Brackets are custom made by hand to fit each individual beam. Iron is welded and cut by hand to give a rustic or industrial look. Additional hardware can be added, if desired, for an elevated customized look.
